Description

Desi tomatoes are partially sour and partly sweet, and they have a lot of edible seeds within. The anti-oxidant lycopene is responsible for the red color of tomatoes. These tomatoes should be stored stem side down in a single layer at room temperature and out of direct sunlight. If you need to keep ripe tomatoes for a long period, keep them refrigerated.
